Copypasta != Update

Among assignments, moving house, and trying to know some high power level girl better, I didn't really have much time this week to watch animu, let alone write an entry. So here's a copypasta.

Gentlemen, I like VLC.

Gentlemen, I like VLC.

Gentlemen, I love VLC!

I like AVI, I like RMVB,

I like 120fps, I like interlacing,

I like rainbowing, I like the dot crawl, I like blocking.

I like the ringing, and I like tinny audio.

On a computer, a DVD player, a PS3, on a Mac, on an Archos.

I truly love each and every kind of artifact man can encode to a file.

I like the broken ASS support when even the simplest of lines fails to render correctly. When the translator's notes overlaps the main dialogue, it makes my heart dance!

I like when an encode displays like it is corrupted! It always left a warm feeling in my chest when they would check the CRC, only to find it is correct.

I like it when #darkhold encoders post on AnimeSuki and RAGE about the topic at hand. I recall how much it moved me, seeing how epic longposts were made, how they would shun the subject again and again, even though it wouldn't die. And it's painfully exciting when a leecher posts about how great it is in the same thread.

And how wonderful it is to have 120fps for a show that is a constant 23.976!

And that pitiful resistance, encoding to h264, despite it being harder on the CPU. I even remember when XviD had a 10:1 leecher ratio!

I like it when the MKV fanboys are thrown into chaos. And when the VFR feature they are supposed to be promoting is violated repeatedly... oh how very sad it is.

I like it when the detail and sharpness in HD encodes are crushed and obliterated! And them being filtered, smearing and ghosting and looking worse than a standard DVD.

Gentlemen, what I want is a low bitrate hell.

Gentlemen, my compatriots, leechers, you who abuse my XDCC bots... gentlemen, what do you desire? Do you also want eyecancer? Is a return to the age of VCDs what you want?

Do you yearn for a VHS encode that stretches the very limits of poor quality, the artifacts so intense that it makes Stevie Wonder cringe?

Very well then, we shall have VLC.

Oh, I welled up after watching Kaiba 03, and shat bricks at the end of Nijuu Mensou no Musume 05. So I suggest you watch these 2 episodes, even if you had no prior experience with the shows.

Guide to installing CCCP + CoreAVC + MPC

Alright, here's a little guide for the .avi and the VLC fags that are the cancer killing technology advancement. See, the problem with VLC is that most fansubs who releases shows in h264, usually uses the .mkv container and .ass for the fukken subs, which VLC has problem supporting without fucking up your screen. So these cancer fags end up downloading .avi, and the retarded fansubbers go ZOMG PEOPLE LIEK .AVI SO WE NEED TO KEEP IT ALIVE. Only a few select smart ones, like gg and sudo say fuck you to the .avi fags, gg even goes to the extent of trolling VLC fags by putting in text that can't be seen on other players.

Step 1: Go to http://www.cccp-project.net/ and download the Insurgent and the CCCP pack, and use Insurgent to kill all the cancer codec packs that you have installed, be it K-lite or whatever fuck shit, I don't care, just destroy all of them.

Step 2: Install CCCP, duh, along with Media Player Classic. Normal playback should be fine here for everything. If you wanna take screenshots, File > Save Image > Select directory. After the first time, you can just press F5 every other time and screens will be saved in whichever folder you choosed.

Step 3: Only for people with slow ass computer which chokes on 720p videos, like my Athlon 2800 XP or my sister's boyfriend's even older CPU, I think it's a 2Ghz Pentium 4 Mobile, or for the faggots running Duo Core and wanna utilise them both for whatever reasons. CCCP's FFDShow doesn't support multi core I think, so here's where CoreAVC comes in. I'm not that good with these shit so I may be wrong, but whatever. Either buy it from http://www.coreavc.com/ or if you are have no morals like me, get it from here, and install it.

Step 4: Open MPC again, press O or right click > Options. Go to External Filters, Add Filter, Browse, and unless you fuck around with installing CCCP, go to C:\Program Files\CoreCodec\CoreAVC Professional Edition\ and select CoreAVCDecoder.ax. Then go to Start, Programs, CCCP, Settings, uncheck H.264, Next, Apply. Load up a .mkv/h264 file, and right click on the screen, Filters, and CoreAVC should be on the list.

Shouldn't have any problem after this if you follow it step by step. Embrace the superior player and format and say goodbye to .avi and VLC. Oh, this only works for Windows. Too bad for you Macfags and Linuxfags. Just google for Real Alternative if you have a desire to support the chinks and their shitty realmedia, it should play everything else fine with no problems.

Kaiji - Final arc and afterthoughts

What do you do when you have a 2 hours break and no friends, being the fat and ugly basement dwelling antisocial faggot that you are? Well for me, I go to the library and catch up on my anime watching, and today, I watched the last arc of Kaiji, the Tissue Box Raffle. I hate cliffhangers so I only watch Kaiji after the whole arc has ended, and why I watch Sunrise shit is beyond me since they have cliffhangers every episode. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the series, and shame on you, go kill yourself.

Alright, for those of you left who are familiar with the series, or pretending to be, here's a quick recap.

Restricted Rock, Paper, Scissors - The start of the show, basically some introduction, and LOL WUT AN ANIME ABOUT SCISSORS PAPER STONE? It showed some promise, and especially if you started watching Fukumoto's works from Akagi, you'll like it. The crying, the despair, the game and the rules. Also, ANDOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Human Derby - The prime of the series, some people prefer the next arc, but for me, this is the best arc. Mainly because of the speeches, and partly because unlike Bleach, people actually die, in a blink of an eye too. I had fun posting the manga spoilers on /a/ regarding someone's death, lols were had. This also served as a wake up call for most people, but after that, you end up falling deeper into despair, because we all end up realising that what we have been telling ourselves all this time is a lie after all. This is your life, you either start doing shit to get it in order, or well, you already know what's gonna happen.

E-Card - Now, I consider this the second best arc for the anime, it was like Akagi, pure and simple, mind games and fuckery with Kaiji's despair shit. Seeing Kaiji in a Akagi situation was a lot more realistic, since Akagi always had some fucking dumb luck to save his ass, he's a fucking Gary Stu regardless of what your fanboy ass thinks. The fail fact was the whole Tonegawa shit, even though we got some awesome speeches out of it, it really spoiled the arc, the punishment at the end was a good save, but it can't save the fail.

Tissue Box Raffle - When I heard about the whole tissue box stuff, I was thinking man, Kaiji really wasn't thinking, he was too full of himself and wasn't thinking rationally, but he proved me wrong in the middle of the arc. He planned everything nicely. The only reason why he failed was after the chairman saw through his tricks, he despaired. We've seen from the previous arcs, everytime he's at a critical point, he'd keep thinking and find out an effective counter, not this time, he fucking prayed to God. So the moral of the story? When you come into a desperate situation, start thinking and stop praying, praying to God only makes you meet him faster. Miracles only happen in fiction, Kaiji is non-fiction, real life is non-fiction, miracles don't happen here.

I apologise for the spoilers, but it's your fault for pretending to have watched it when you should have killed yourself instead.

Some of the awesome speeches.

The real first post

What IS this?

This is yet another blog about the stuff that otaku likes. As much as I hate the o word, I'll have to mention it once at the very least. So now, no more o word. We, at Lactobacillus will provide you your daily dose on various stuff - Anime, Manga, Plastic Model and Figurines, mainly these 4 categories.

But wait, aren't there already 90213431491 other sites blogging on these stuff? Why would we want to visit yours? They are more established and definitely have better content than yours.

See, that's where the difference is, or at least, what I'm trying to achieve. I'm going to make this a different kind of blog. I'm not gonna go "KYOU IS MOEEEEEEEE,", "OMG CLANNADS IS DA BEST SHOW EVER." or "KEY ROXX!!!!" like most of them. Sure, I may have the need to do that every now and then, but I'll minimalise it. What you can expect from here will be trolling and rants, with the occasional guides, reviews and other stuff. Hate how everyone is creaming pants over Code Geass despite the major plot holes and Suzaku hax? Then you are ONE OF US.

So you are some kind of elitist hater or some shit? Well then, fuck you.

Thank you, and instead of screening your comments or deleting them straight like some bloggers do, if you can make an intelligible post with proper English, we'll entertain you, even if you're blatantly trolling. After all, as a bunch of fat and ugly basement-dwelling lowlifes who live and breathe the Internet, discussions and debates are our main source of energy. This also means that if you can't even construct a simple sentence, you will be ignored. Remember, the Internet is not a medium for you to slaughter English.

Okay then, b..b..but I'm not going to read because I like your blog or anything... I just want to troll you.

Sure, go ahead, and thanks again.

Oh, and for the record, I have over 1000 manga on my shelf and am currently watching 20 shows this season. so there's always something to rant about.
